Calvin’s Algarve story
Like many people, Calvin had a simple dream: more sunshine, a slower pace, and a life that felt more grounded.
In the mid-1990s, he decided to take the leap. His parents were already living near Loulé, so Calvin came to visit, started exploring, and quickly fell in love with the Algarve’s villages, landscapes, and community.
The more he explored, the more one place kept pulling him back: São Brás de Alportel. It became home - and still is today.
From renovating a home to helping others find theirs
Calvin’s first years in Portugal were hands-on. He bought a small village house, renovated it, and built close relationships with local neighbours. Those experiences shaped how he sees property today: not as a transaction, but as a life decision.
He later worked in tourism, which gave him a deep understanding of the Algarve’s different areas - and what daily life actually feels like across the region.
In 2004, Calvin moved into real estate. It was challenging, exciting, and a natural fit because he could genuinely relate to clients who were feeling that mix of excitement, nerves, and “big dream” energy.

In 2016, Calvin opened his own licensed agency with a clear goal: to offer a more personal, caring, listening-first experience than many traditional agencies.
