Why licensing matters

Anyone carrying out estate agency work in Portugal must hold a valid AMI licence issued by IMPIC, the public body responsible for regulating the property sector. You can check a licence directly in the official IMPIC register.

ACPS Real Estate trades through Sucesso Gradual Unipessoal Lda and holds AMI licence 12086. The licence is subject to ongoing legal requirements, including commercial suitability and professional liability insurance.

We are also a member of APEMIP, Portugal’s professional association for estate agents, member number 5357. APEMIP membership is separate from the statutory AMI licence.
